Be So EVENTurous Takes the Leg Work Out of  Boston Event Planning
Innovative network offers time and cost savings with a personal touch. The Be So EVENTurous Boston event planners event network provides free event consultation and restaurant placement, working local Boston area restaurantsBoston party venues and event vendors all over the Boston area.

June 1, 2010 — The Be So EVENTurous Boston event planner network makes finding Boston party venues a much simpler process by providing users with an already aggregated list of local Boston area restaurants, venues and services that fit their event criteria. “The initial difficulty in planning a party - whether it’s a corporate event or a small awards or graduation party, inherently has been the time and energy it takes to identify, qualify, and decide which are the right venues and vendors for the job. Our network solves this problem, while saving time and money by providing users with a free consultation and access to our network of professional and competitive vendors, all small local independent businesses” says Be So EVENTurous proprietor and experienced party planning consultant, Tim Harris.

The network offers free and subscription-based services and can connect the client/planner to a variety of vendors (i.e.  Boston area restaurants, musicians, party services, etc.) of interest. Based on the criteria of a particular Boston event, information is given to only qualified members of the network who then connect to the client and can bid for their business. According to Tim “Instead of sifting through the information and websites offered through the network on your own, we can give you only the potential options that work for your particular needs. The burden is shifted off the client and onto the vendor.”

For vendors, the network provides Boston area restaurants, Boston caterers and private dining Boston locations with the sales leads for bidding while also presenting an opportunity for other peripheral event vendors to advertise and compete for business. According to Tim, “We give the client/planner an opportunity to work with small local businesses that can use a helping hand in this economy while doing the legwork for them in the initial stages of their process.” What emerges is an active and competitive network where the client planning an event saves time and money while vendors get more exposure and jobs to bid on.

There is no need to join the network as an individual client or company planner, although there are added benefits to join. A simple to use event inquiry form on the website or a quick phone call can put the process in motion. “This is different than other internet services in that leads are not withheld from potential restaurants and caterers and they do not pay any fees unless an actual booking takes place. “Our new economy made me look at the events market in a new way, from a budget standpoint and from the view of small, local entrepreneurial businesses” says Tim.

Alan Earls, New England chapter president of the American Society for Business Publication Editors had this to say about the network and the man behind BeSoEVENTurous, “Tim has helped us make arrangements for very successful awards banquets over recent years. We are continuing to look to him for event guidance through BeSoEventurous and remain very pleased with his “can do” attitude and many helpful suggestions.”

Similarly, Deborah Ryan, Recruiter at Plexus Management Group is an enthusiast, “His recommendations have always made for top notch Boston events. Would recommend in a heartbeat!”

Tim’s Boston-area Be So EVENTurous  event network (B.S.E.E.N. for short) is growing daily with Boston area restaurants and Boston party venue locations, so he’ll soon be ready to open a sister network in Chicago. Tim says he’s also able to satisfy requests for event planning service needs outside of these areas as well. “I’ve been doing event planning for more than 10 years, working with people throughout the country. My favorite responses from my clients  are ‘Thanks for getting back to me so quickly’ and ‘You make this process so easy’.”

About BeSoEVENTurous: The BeSoEVENTurous event network is a new concept in Boston event planning and networking. We take the pain and the leg work out of event planning for business and individual clients. The company takes distinct facets of the events/meetings market and combines them into a network that is designed to support the budget end of the market, not typically served by traditional event planners. A simple concept based on a niche market that has not been effectively serviced, especially in our new economy. It is a model for the nurturing of small business and regular people in a changed world.

“Tim's responsiveness, integrity, acumen, professional and pleasant persona, and knowledge of his field make an unbeatable combination.”
