Veteran’s Day Early Work Release Party
Gari Japanese Fusion 187 Harvard St. Coolidge Corner Brookline

Live music from Lourdes Pita, Saki samples, Sushi and giveaways will highlight this Veterans Day afternoon gathering. Gari is a quaint little spot, not only highly chic, but comforting with a very friendly staff. Start your evening early with some great food and drink plus a little networking thrown in the mix. And Lourdes & Gary share a birthday that day! $20 in advance, $25 at the door, $10 for network subscribers and clients who have booked events through Be So Eventurous.

Sunday, Nov. 14, 4-6 PM
Flavors of Bedford,
The Doubletree Bedford Glen Hotel, 44 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford
Our booth will feature food from Thai Tapas from Ronnarong, crepes from Paris Creperie and Italian delicacies from La Romagnoli & Son. Another BSEEN partner restaurant, Dalyas, will have their own booth. In all 24 restaurants/caterers will be featured at this event sponsored by the Bedford Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $35 and available on through the chamber website.

Admission Includes an all day pass to all films. Come and go as you please. VIP pass includes a meet and greet with Mark Mincolla, leading natural health care practitioner and radio host of the Natural Health Show on 96.9 FM. Mark is known for his Motto, “Food is Medicine”.

The film festival will have 344 Inspirational Minutes of Pure, Uplifting, Explosive Motivation including Kris Carr’s Film “Crazy Sexy Cancer.” An irreverent and uplifting documentary about a young woman looking for a cure and finding her life. For more on this film go to

Thai Tapas Tuesday
Ronnarong Thai Tapas Bar, Union Sq. Somerville
It’s Thai Tapas Tuesday so you’ll receive a free tapas with purchase of an alcoholic drink. This month special guest Kate Toth from the Boston Wine Co. will join us from 6-7:30 to taste 5 sakes and talk about the subtle differences. Come early and Taste with Kate! Thursday, Nov. 11
Wine Dinner
Orta Restaurant, Pembroke
Our next wine dinner has been planned for Thursday November 11. This dinner will focus on Jimmy and Joanie’s travels in Umbria, Florence and Rome. They are currently doing research in the country that we love and will return with a gastronomical array of souvenirs for us all to enjoy. We will send out the menu as soon as Jimmy has time to catch up on his sleep and we hope you will join us in The Grotto to taste his memories.
